Students study the word, say it aloud a few times, write it into the second column while saying it aloud again, cover the first two columns with a piece of paper, write the word again in the third column, uncover and check to see if they spelled it correctly. If not, write the word again in the fourth column.

Trace, Copy, Cover & Write

This generates a printable Trace, Copy, Cover & Write (also known as Trace Copy Cover & Close) worksheet. Students trace the word with a pencil on the lined version of the word in the first column, copy the word into the second column while looking at the first column as a reference, cover the first two columns with a piece of paper, write the word in the third column, spelling it from memory, then remove the cover and check to see if they got it right. Best for grades K-3. 8 words per page, with as many pages as needed.

This generates a printable 'Write 5 Sentences for 5 Words' worksheet. The words are all printed on the left side of the page, and there are 5 sets of lines for students to write a sentence, using words from the list on the left. The student picks any of the five words, and writes a sentence on each line for each of these five words. Best for grades 1-4. Up to 24 words on the page.

Bingo Cards

This generates a classroom's worth of Bingo printable worksheets.

We will then create 35 Bingo cards for you, one per page. Each card will have a random assortment of 24 words placed onto the 5x5 grid. Print only what you need.

The last page will be the full list of words for the word caller to pick from.

They take turns picking a word from the list and writing it into their chosen square with different colored pens. The first player to get three of their marks in a row wins! Best for grades K-2.
