Sight Word Hunt
This generates a printable Sight Word Hunt worksheet. The first word in your list is the focus word, printed in a large box at the top of the page.
Below the focus word is a 5 x 4 grid filled with your words in random order. Students hunt for the focus word and circle or highlight it every time they find it.
Enter up to 20 words. If you enter fewer, the words repeat throughout the grid, with the focus word appearing most often. If you enter more than 20, only the first 20 are used.
Works for letters and numbers too, not just sight words. PreK and kindergarten teachers use it to hunt for one letter among look-alikes like b, d, p, and q, or for a number among other numbers.
Customization options: title, instructions, font type, font size, and letter case.
Best for grades PreK-2.
