This is a printable Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check template, with a name block at the top. The letters are unlined, which makes this template better for grades 1-5. Students study the word, say it aloud a few times, write it into the second column while saying it aloud again, cover the first two columns with a piece of paper, write the word again in the third column, uncover and check to see if they spelled it correctly. If not, write the word again in the fourth column.

This is a printable Trace, Copy, Cover & Write (also known as Trace Copy Cover & Close) template, with a name block at the top. Students trace the word with a pencil on the lined version of the word in the first column, copy the word into the second column while looking at the first column as a reference, cover the first two columns with a piece of paper, write the word in the third column, spelling it from memory, then remove the cover and check to see if they got it right. Best for grades K-3. 8 words per page, with as many pages as needed.
